Wipro WILP Interview 2026: Everything You Need to Know

WILP is a full-time employment programme where selected freshers work at Wipro while simultaneously completing a B.Tech or M.Tech degree through BITS Pilani's distance education mode. It is designed for diploma holders and candidates who want to work while qualifying.

• Eligibility: Diploma holders (60%+), B.Sc/BCA graduates (60%+), and in some cycles final-year B.Tech students
• Bond: typically a 2-year service agreement with Wipro after joining
• Compensation: entry-level Wipro package (₹3.5–4.5 LPA) during training + fee waiver for the BITS programme

The WILP process consists of four stages. Most candidates are eliminated at the aptitude test: so that is where you should focus your preparation.

• Stage 1: Online application and eligibility verification (marks % check)
• Stage 2: Wipro National Talent Hunt (WNTH): aptitude test with Verbal, Quant, and Reasoning
• Stage 3: Technical interview (30–45 minutes): basic CS fundamentals, C/C++, or domain-specific
• Stage 4: HR interview (20–30 minutes): standard HR questions, bond acknowledgement
• Results: typically released 2–3 weeks after the HR round; offer letter follows within a month

The Wipro National Talent Hunt is modelled on TCS NQT in structure but is slightly easier. Section-wise preparation is the fastest path to clearing it.

• Verbal (15Q): RC passages, fill-in-the-blanks, sentence correction: similar to TCS NQT
• Quantitative (15Q): percentages, time-speed, profit-loss, basic algebra: no negative marking
• Logical Reasoning (15Q): series, blood relations, arrangements
• Coding (1Q): basic logic in C or Python: usually easier than TCS NQT Foundation
• Best prep resources: PrepInsta Wipro package, IndiaBIX for verbal and quant basics

The WILP technical interview is not as deep as the regular Wipro Elite interview, but it does test core CS fundamentals. Expect 30–45 minutes with a panel.

• OOP concepts: classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism: know the definitions AND examples
• C/C++ basics: pointers, arrays, structure: common for diploma holders
• Database: basic SQL queries, PRIMARY KEY vs FOREIGN KEY, normalisation up to 3NF
• OS fundamentals: process vs thread, deadlock conditions, paging: high-level understanding only
• Your project: be ready to explain your final-year or diploma project in 3–4 minutes clearly

The HR round for WILP focuses on confirming motivation, location flexibility, and willingness to accept the bond and training conditions.

• 'Are you comfortable with the 2-year service bond?': say yes clearly; do not negotiate this in the interview
• 'Are you open to any Wipro location?': say yes; you can express preferences after getting the offer
• 'Why Wipro WILP over a direct B.Tech?': emphasise learning while earning and the BITS Pilani credential
• Standard questions: Tell me about yourself, strengths, weaknesses, where do you see yourself in 5 years
• Do NOT ask about salary hike timelines or bond exit clauses in this round
